The problem
The web is scattered with junk and trash. Pop-ups jump in front of what you came to read. Terrible ads follow you from site to site, tracking everywhere you go, quietly building a file on you to sell. Recipe pages bury the recipe under a life story, news pages shout and spin to keep you angry, search results are written for machines instead of people, and social feeds reward whoever is loudest, who is often the worst. Pages take five seconds, ten seconds, forever to load, because they are hauling all that junk around with them. Too much of the web was built by unscrupulous people who treat your attention as something to extract, not something to respect.
The solution: Clear
We are doing things differently. Clear is a volunteer project to make the web clearer and faster, one page at a time: pages that stay light and load in a blink, no ad trackers following you anywhere, no pop-ups, no spam, no crap, and every number reported honestly, mistakes included. This site, clearr, is the front door: one search box over a family of sites where the content is the point, anything social is kind by design and guarded on purpose, and you can always see what a page is and why it exists. Nothing here is perfectly clean. Everything here tries to be clear.
Our mission is to make the web clearer and faster. No more junk. Easier. Works on your phone. No popups.
The two r's, and the lol
The perfect domain was expensive, so we bought the funny one. clearr.lol has two r's because one r was taken, and a lol because the other members of the family live there too: llamachat.lol, llamagram.lol. Serious work does not need a serious-sounding address. It needs to work, load fast, and tell the truth.
The Clear family
575 recipes, each one readable in seconds: ingredients, steps, a few ideas, one good tip. No autobiography before the ingredients, no pop-ups, no nonsense. The recipes are free, forever. Readers who want to can send a dollar, and every dollar goes to orphanages in Ecuador and Bolivia that our team has personally worked in. Clear Recipe is published in three languages so far, English, Spanish, and Indonesian, with more on the way.
The news with the noise removed. What happened, in plain language, in a layout that respects your morning. No outrage bait, no endless scroll designed to keep you angry.
Pages that genuinely help. Each one answers a real question completely, the way the best page on any topic should have done in the first place. Our test for every entry is simple: would a person who found this page be glad they did?
A search engine over content we stand behind, indexed by hand and tagged properly, so results are pages a human chose, not pages an algorithm settled for. The search box on the clearr home page is the baby version of it, searching everything we make.
The wider universe: E2
Zoom out and the Clear family is one part of something bigger. E2 is a whole universe: a kinder internet, built as a place of its own, with its own people, stories, films, and places. The Studio is the company inside E2 that makes it all. When E2 opens its doors to members, it will be private and vetted on purpose: real people, an application, a community small enough to stay kind and strong enough to remove anyone who is not.
The universe itself. Start here to see the world, the characters, and what is being built.
Short posts from kind people. A social feed the way social feeds were supposed to feel: fast, friendly, chronological, human.
Photos from the Llama Chat crew. The picture side of the feed.
Free courses on practical skills: learn to cook, code, invest, negotiate, and a hundred other things, taught clearly and without the upsell.
The company inside E2. Films, characters, music, and the work itself, made in the open.
Two values we keep coming back to
One of the most important things on the internet, and the easiest to lose. What it means here, how we practice it, and where it lives.
Saying the true thing, clearly: honest numbers, real names, mistakes in the open.
The rules everything here runs on
- Fast is respect. Pages stay light. A homepage should load before you finish blinking, and every image earns its weight.
- The content is the point. If a page exists, it exists to help, teach, feed, or delight you. Not to trap you.
- Honest numbers. We count real visitors and say so, including the uncomfortable parts, like how many of them were us, and how many were probably bots.
- Readable by everyone. Every page is built so any reader can understand it: you, a screen reader, a search engine, a translation tool. Clear structure, clear headings, no tricks.
- Kind by design, guarded on purpose. Anything social here is gated, vetted, and moderated by humans. The internet has enough open doors for cruel people.
- Free where it counts. Recipes and courses are free. Where money ever appears, it is small, optional, and pointed at something good.
Where things stand
2,770 pages built across the family, 2,055 of them live right now. Counted file by file, October 12, 2026.
About 250 real people visited in the first week we could measure properly, from places like Kolkata, Paris, Warsaw, Haarlem, and Phoenix. Small numbers, honestly reported.
575 recipes, 100+ courses, 113 helpful pages and counting.
This is early. Some of these sites are weeks old. A few are still demos. clearr itself is a test page that started today. We would rather show you the real state of things than a polished fiction, because that is the entire idea.
Who makes this
clearr and everything behind it is made by a small team at The Studio, working with AI partners in the open. The work is published as it ships, numbers and mistakes included. If you find something unclear anywhere in the family, that is a bug, and it is ours to fix.
Start anywhere. The front door is open.
